During Paris Games Week 2024, Arc System Works announced that the new Guilty Gear Strive battle balance update will release alongside DLC character Queen Dizzy on October 31. Queen Dizzy is the first new DLC character for Guilty Gear Strive Season Pass 4.

Previously, the developers revealed some new information from the latest TGS 2024 Developer’s Backyard. At this event, Arc System Works previewed Dizzy’s character intro and Chipp Zanuff’s new special move that will arrive in the next update. Additionally, the second open beta test of the 3v3 mode will be held from November 8-11. The full 3v3 mode will be released at a later date in an update, likely sometime in Season 4.
After Dizzy launches, players can expect the following Season Pass 4 characters to release:
- Venom – Early 2025
- Unika – Spring 2025
- Lucy – Summer 2025
Moreover, Arc System Works previously announced that Guilty Gear Strive is coming to Nintendo Switch on January 23, 2025. The Nintendo Switch version will cost $59.99 and include all 28 characters released up go this point.
Lastly, the Arc World Tour Finals 2024 will be held from March 21-23 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. The games that will be participating in this finals are Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Guilty Gear Strive, and Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes.
Guilty Gear Strive is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Windows.
