NIS America and developer Peter “Durante” Thoman from PH3 announced that Ys X: Nordics will support local co-op on PC. Two players will be able to play as Adol Christin and Karja Balta together, but it’s worth noting that co-op is an experimental feature.
Co-op may be enabled or disabled in the settings menu in Ys X: Nordics, allowing each player to control a separate character on PC. The Mana link is still active, so players can’t get too far away from each other, however. Co-op is also supported in ship exploration and fishing, with additional settings to consider. There are also some other limitations to consider, so reading Durante’s Steam blog post about co-op on PC.
