Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 announced that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is getting new Dragon Ball Daima DLC, officially titled “DAIMA – Adventure Through The Demon Realm.” Like previous Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLCs, the Daima DLC will be released in multiple parts.
Previously, Bandai Namco confirmed Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot surpassed a total of eight million copies sold worldwide. The eight million in sales includes digital copies of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and physical shipments.
More free updates and support for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was teased before the Daima DLC’s reveal. An update earlier this year brought a “Super” version of Hercule Satan, and the development team teased that they had additional plans for the game.
The latest DLC, Goku’s Next Journey, sees Goku finally meet Uub ten years after the defeat of Majin Buu in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. Players will control Goku (Blue Gi) as he trains with Goten, battles Uub during the tournament, and even have a long-awaited rematch with Vegeta during the “End of Z” period.
Released on October 11, Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO has the largest roster in Budokai Tenkaichi history, with 182 playable characters at launch. This includes the pre-order bonus character, Goku (Mini) from Dragon Ball Daima. Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO will receive 20+ playable characters from Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero and Dragon Ball Daima, including Glorio and Vegeta (Mini).
Each week, new Dragon Ball Daima episodes will release on Fridays at 10:00 a.m. PDT / 1:00 p.m. EDT on Crunchyroll and Netflix. At least 20 episodes are expected to release, and we will have an update once more information is available.
Lastly, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
