Bungie and NetEase Games have announced Destiny: Rising, a new first-person shooter for Android and iOS set in an alternate Destiny timeline. In Destiny: Rising, the Iron Lords prevailed against their enemies, and The City’s Lightbearers are joining forces with them to combat alien threats.
In addition, Destiny: Rising will offer single-player, co-op, and competitive multiplayer modes, including fan-favorites from the Destiny franchise. Players can also expect all-new, never-before-seen modes. Moreover, the game will feature touchscreen controls and controller support for PlayStation, Xbox, and other mobile controllers.
The official website for Destiny: Rising confirms that players may register for a limited access closed alpha test, which begins sometime in November. However, a release date for the full game has not been announced yet.
