A new teaser trailer for the One Piece series confirms the anime will be on break until April 2025. It will resume with the ongoing Egghead Arc, and more details will be revealed at Jump Festa 2025.
Instead of a new episode next week, the One Piece Fan Letter special episode will air on October 20. It will adapt the Straw Hat Stories novel by Tomohito Ohsaki. One Piece Fan Letter is directed by Megumi Ishitani and scripted by Momoka Toyoda. Keisuke Mori is the character designer and animation director for the new episode as well.
While One Piece is on break, a special edited version of the Fishman Island arc will begin on October 27, running for 21 episodes as “One Piece Log: Fishman Island Saga.” It will have remade scenes, retouched artwork and color shading, adjusted lighting, a Dolby Atmos soundtrack, and more.
