Nintendo announced a “Nintendo Switch Online Playtest Program” will be held from October 23 at 6:00 p.m. PST to November 5 at 4:59 p.m. PST. This program will test out “a new feature” for the subscription service.
The Nintendo Switch Online Playtest Program will be accessible to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass members 18 years of age or older. Their Nintendo accounts must be registered in Japan, US, UK, France, Germany, Italy, or Spain. Only 10,000 applicants will be selected to participate.

- Your Nintendo Account must be registered to one of the following countries: Japan, The United States of America, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, or Spain.

- Participants from Japan will be chosen via raffle if there are many Japanese applicants. Participants from outside of Japan will be chosen on a first-come-first-serve basis.
