Square Enix and Taito are releasing a mouse based on the liquid slime enemies from Dragon Quest. The mouse will be available exclusively in Japan on October 12 at select game centers. The face part of the slime is the palm grip while the right and left click is the left part of the monster. The mouse is only compatible with 32 bit versions of Windows 8/10.
Recently, Square Enix announced HD-2D remakes of Dragon Quest 1-3. Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake will release first on November 14 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Pre-orders are now available for the standard physical edition, the standard digital edition, and the Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake Collector’s Edition. Pre-orders include the Trouble-Free Travel Kit bonus, with Elevating Shoes, Seed of Defence x3, Seed of Agility x3, Seed of Magic x3, Seed of Strength x3 and Seed of Life x3.

ARTDINK and Square Enix’s Team Asano are leading development of Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake and Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake, with series creator Yuji Horii serving as supervisor. These remakes will bring the entire Erdrick trilogy to the modern era, while vastly upgrading its visuals in a way that stays true to the classic RPGs.
Lastly, Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake will follow up in 2025 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
