Kyoto Animation has recently revealed a new film, Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to be Loved. The film will release in 2025. The film will continue to adapt ongoing Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid manga. The story details for the film are currently unknown. Further, Mutsumi Tamura will play Kobayashi, Yūki Kuwahara as Tohru, and Maria Naganawa as Kanna. The anime adaptation of the manga initially premiered in 2017. A second season aired in 2021. Both seasons are available to watch now on Crunchyroll. Additionally, Seven Seas Entertainment is publishing the Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid manga in Engish. The manga initially began publication in 2013. They describe it as follows:
