During its Geeked Week ’24 event, Netflix announced that Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 will premiere in January 2025. A new trailer was released, teasing what’s to come for the second season of the animated series.

Season 2 of Castlevania: Nocturne entered production in October 2023, shortly after the premiere of the first season. The second season trailer revealed that Alucard will be taking center stage alongside Richter Belmont.
Castlevania: Nocturne is led by showrunner Kevin Kolde and writer Clive Bradley. Moreover, the series is produced by Project 51 Productions with production services provided by Powerhouse Animation. A total of eight episodes were released, with the first having aired on September 28, 2023.
