SEGA announced a new content update for Sonic Dream Team is now available with several new additions and an overhaul to Tails’ Challenges. More fan-favorite music tracks from other Sonic games were added as well.
Firstly, the September 12 update for Sonic Dream Team adds new Powers that Sonic and team can unlock and equip. These Powers grant new abilities like Stomp, Super Glide, Wall Boost, and more. 16 Powers may be unlocked from Tails’ Challenges, which have been updated to refresh daily and offer more rewards. Players may earn rankings on every Challenge mission, with the S-Rank awarding bonus XP for faster reward and Power unlocks.
Score Attack levels are now available in Tails’ Challenges as well. Players may smash through targets, destroy enemies and obstacles, and chain moves together in combo streaks. High scores are posted to the leaderboards. Moreover, music tracks from other Sonic games may now be unlocked while playing Tails’ Challenges.

Sonic fans may also look forward to Sonic x Shadow Generations, an enhanced remaster featuring all-new content starring Shadow the Hedgehog. Final Weapon had the opportunity to preview Sonic X Shadow Generations at Summer Game Fest 2024 Play Days. In addition, we featured gameplay of the new Shadow levels on our official YouTube channel. Sonic x Shadows Generations will launch on October 25 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Lastly, Sonic Dream Team is available now exclusively for Apple Arcade on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro devices.
