D3 Publisher and YUKE’S announced Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 will be available for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store on September 26. This is a same-day launch alongside the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch versions.
A 10% discount will be available for Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2 until September 26, according to D3 Publisher’s latest Steam blog post. In addition, all purchases before January 31, 2025 will include the “Himekawa, Reporter” and “Honda, Reporter” bonus characters.
In the original Earth Defense Force: World Brothers, players explore a parallel world made of digital blocks. The world is in pieces and its up to players to fight enemies and save Earth. If they don’t, the game’s antagonist, The Dark Tyrant, will destroy the pieces. Players defeated The Dark Tyrant in Earth Defense Force: World Brothers. Gaiarch will emerge as a new threat in the upcoming sequel.
