Capcom has announced that both the Capcom Fighting Collection 2 and Marvel vs Capcom: Fighting Collection will be coming to the Xbox One in 2025. The former will be available on all other consoles in 2025. Marvel vs Capcom: Fighting Collection will release for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC on September 12. The physical edition will release on November 22.
Capcom initially announced MvC Fighting Collection: Arcade Classics during the June 2024 Nintendo Direct. The collection was playable at EVO 2024, and it even reached the #1 spot for video game releases on Amazon. This release is monumental for numerous reasons, with many fans excited to play a modern release of Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age Of Heroes, which was formerly trapped on older consoles.
The collection includes X-Men Children of the Atom, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs. Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes, and The Punisher. The digital version of the collection will release on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC on September 12. The physical version will release on November 22.
During the recent Nintendo Direct, Capcom announced the Capcom Fighting Collection 2. The collection will include the following games: Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro, Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001, Capcom Fighting Evolution, Street Fighter Alpha 3 UPPER, Project Justice, Power Stone, Power Stone 2, and Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein. It also features rollback netcode, training mode, extended language support, and more content. It will be available on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and the Xbox One in 2025.
