The staff for the upcoming season 2 of Tonbo has confirmed that it will air on October 5. They’ve also revealed more cast and staff for the series. Rika Hayashi will play Oi, Eri Kitamura will play Tsubura Adaniya, Yui Ishikawa will play Hinoki Otoha, Marina Inoue will play Emi Kurisu, Eiji Hanawa will play Hajime Udo, and Sanae Kobayashi will play Shima-san.

The Japanese pop duo Sacra e sole performs the second season’s opening theme song “Seven pieces.” The jazz-funk trio TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI performs the second season’s ending theme song “It’s time to win.”
