Spectre Divide Releases for PC via Steam on September 3

    Just one week to go.

Spectre Divide, a brand-new innovative tactical shooter, has announced it plans to launch on PC via Steam on September 3. Mountaintop Studios, the developer behind the title, is comprised of many competitive shooter fans who aimed to create a new take on the genre. Spectre Divide allows players to take control of two different bodies during each match, with the main body and a “Spectre.” This secondary body can be placed all the way across the map, act as cover for a sniper, and so much more. It’s as simple as pressing a button to switch between the two.

The game will go live on September 3 at 9 AM PST across the United States, Europe, Asia, and Australian servers. You can check out the reveal trailer of Spectre Divide below:

We said the following in our preview of the game: “Overall, I’m incredibly excited to spend more time in Spectre Divide once it’s available. There’s a clear level of passion and attention to detail with every inch of this game at Mountaintop, and I’m looking forward to watching the community get their hands on the game. Spectre Divide truly feels like it could be the massive evolution that the genre has been waiting on. It’s fresh, unique, and unlike any shooter I’ve ever played in many ways.”
