    Little Nightmares III ‘Friendship’ Trailer Reveals Two-Player Co-op

    Face the horrors alone or with a friend.

    During Gamescom 2024, Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games released the “Friendship” trailer for Little Nightmares III, confirming that there will be two-player co-op. Players will team up to play as Low and Alone, the game’s two protagonists.

    In Little Nightmares III, Low and Alone each have their own unique abilities, and players can invite a friend to join them in online co-op. Players may also enjoy the game in single-player, where you can choose Low or Alone while AI controls the second character.

    Previously, Bandai Namco announced that Little Nightmares III was delayed to 2025 for further quality improvements. The developers also released a message to Little Nightmares fans. The game was originally planned to release before the end of 2024. 

    Bandai Namco and Tarsier Studios released the first Little Nightmares in 2017. The game is a puzzle-platformer with horror elements. A sequel, Little Nightmares II, released in 2021. At Gamescom 2023, Bandai Namco confirmed that a third game is in development, with its initially planned 2024 release window.

    Lastly, Little Nightmares III will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2025. As mentioned in the recent developer message, Bandai Namco will reveal more details about Little Nightmares III in the coming months before the end of 2024.
