Kuro Games announced Wuthering Waves Version 1.2 “In the Turquoise Moonglow” will launch on August 15. The new update will bring new content, features, and much more to the game.
Firstly, Wuthering Waves Version 1.2 will introduce new quests, a new Resonator, and a new weapon. Several quality-of-life improvements will be made to the auto lock-on system, making combat even more responsive. Players will gain access to a new Custom Lock-On feature under the Control settings menu.
Kuro Games acknowledges feedback regarding the need to switch between teams when no pistol-wielding Resonators are available for challenges like the Photovault. In Version 1.2, the new Hoverdroid: Shooter Utility may be equipped. Players simply need to tap or hold the Basic Attack button to fire it. More features for the Hoverdroid are in development.
A new feature will allow players to store excess Waveplates after the cap is reached. After reaching the cap, players will receive Waveplate Crystals, which can be exchanged for Waveplates of equivalent value. Up to 480 Waveplate Crystals may be stored at once. Moreover, the Activity Points reward for the “Spend 180 Waveplates” daily quest will be increased from 20 to 60.
A Resonator Showcase feature will be available in Version 1.2, allowing players to view and display the Convene scenes of Resonators they unlocked. In the PC version, a new 120 FPS option will be available as well.
