Serving as the sequel to Initial D, the MF Ghost manga by series creator Shuichi Shigeno entered serialization in September 2017 for Weekly Young Magazine. The series stars Kanata Livington, a Japanese-British 19-year-old trained by Initial D protagonist and legendary racer Takumi Fujiwara. Kanata aims to find his long-lost father, and the talented rookie must get behind the wheel like those before him.
The MF Ghost manga series is available to purchase digitally at Kodansha’s official website. Additionally, the manga is available to read on Kodansha’s K Manga app. Here’s an overview of the MF Ghost manga series via Kodansha:
The author of Initial D has roared back onto the track with another hit! In a near future where cars have mostly switched over to sustainable power, combustion engine racing is a rarity.
