Lastly, here’s an overview of both of the new Fairy Tail games, via Kodansha:

    Fairy Tail: Dungeons

Fairy Tail: Dungeons is a deck building roguelite that features Fairy Tail characters. The 5 playable characters include Natsu, Lucy, and Gray, each with special abilities. Collect magic cards from the original Fairy Tail to make decks, and defeat powerful monsters to reach the deepest part of the dungeon.

    Original Story

Natsu and Happy find a mysterious door that suddenly appeared below the guild. On the other side of that door lies a strange dungeon that robs any intruders of their abilities. There they are saved from monsters by Labi. Together they try to reach the deepest part of the dungeon to find Labi’s friends.

The final boss was specially designed by Hiro Mashima himself.

Organize Magic Cards and Utilize Strategy to Win Battles in this Deck Building Roguelite

Players have a limited number of turns to explore the dungeon as they battle foes and acquire items to choose their path.

Attack, defend, and use magic with your deck of magic cards during battle. Trigger special effects such as Magic Chains that boost damage by ordering the cards correctly.

Acquire new cards to make the deck stronger using rewards and treasure earned from battle. Gain experience to become stronger and face even stronger foes.

Choose from 5 Fairy Tail Guildmembers, Each with Their Own Fighting Style!

Choose between Natsu, Lucy, Gray, Erza, and Wendy. Go for balanced offense and defense with Natsu, show off the special effects of Celestial Spirit magic with Lucy, or use the strategic and colorful Molding magic of Gray. Fighting style and abilities are different for each of the five characters. Discover the strategies that suit each character and advance by dominating in battle.

Progress the story to form a party of 3 to take on the Labyrinth Depths. Each character’s special abilities will synergize differently with different parties, adding even more depth and enjoyment to the battle system.
