HoYoverse announced Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.1 “Undercover R&B” will launch on August 14 with new story quests, playable characters, and more new content.
In Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.1, Zhu Yuan, Qingyi, and Seth will fight against the Mountain Lion Gang. These criminals constantly evade arrest, thanks to the mysterious Jane. In the world of Special Episode “Undercover R&B,” players will stroll New Eridu, complete commissions as Jane, and discover the past between her and New Eridu Public Security (N.E.P.S.).
Qingyi will join players’ squads as an S-Rank Electric Stun character. She can inflict Daze on enemies quickly and build up Flash Connect Voltage to trigger a powerful attack. Qingyi can offer some support to Zhu Yuan in battle as well.
Jane’s relationship with the player will be of both friend and foe. As an S-Rank Physical Anomaly Agent, Jane can trigger Passion State to build up Passion Stream and unleash deadly attacks that inflict Attribute Anomaly on enemies. Before she joins a squad, player must face her in combat.
A-Rank Electric Defense character Seth also makes his debut. Seth’s weapon can buff his teammates with a shield and transform itself into a large sword to defeat enemies. The S-Rank Bangboo Officer Cui will be able to assist Proxies in the Hollows as well.
Version 1.1 will introduce the new Inferno Reap activity to Hollow Zero. Players may enter a time-limited battle with Nineveh to obtain a variety of in-game rewards. Moreover, the Camellia Golden Week event will be live with several rewards up for grabs, including Polychromes and an A-level W-engine.
Before updating the game, players may redeem the code UNDERCOVERRNB to earn some free rewards.
Lastly, Zenless Zone Zero is available now for free on PlayStation 5, Epic Games Store, Android, and iOS.
