Udon Entertainment has announced that they have acquired the licenses to the Mega Man series. They will release new comics based on the series in 2025.
Capcom has not released a new entry in the Mega Man series. Over the last few years, they have re-released the Mega Man Battle Network series, launched collaborations with games like Exoprimal, and released spin-offs like Mega Man X DiVE. The last mainline Mega Man entry, Mega Man 11, released in 2018.
Udon Acquires Mega Man License, New Comics Releasing Soon
During San Diego Comic-Con, Udon Entertainment delivered a major update about a series they have acquired the licenses for. The company has acquired the rights for the Mega Man franchise, which includes Mega Man X, Mega Man Zero, Mega Man Legends, and Mega Man ZX. They will release new comics based on the property starting in 2025.
