To celebrate International Friendship Day and its first anniversary, Hello Kitty Adventure Island is bringing a new event, the Friendship Festival, in-game from now through August 8. This event will feature all sorts of new rewards and activities!
First, the focus of this event is bonding with your besties and friends across the island. You’ll take photos daily to gain friendship charms, which can be exchanged for new emotes and clothing! An extra companion slot will even be added to allow for two companions at once! Additionally, a new line of clothing for NPCs and players will be available with the Friendship Festival event, so you can dress up your characters for the ultimate one year celebration.

Hello Kitty Adventure Island is available now on iOS via Apple Arcade. The game is set to arrive on Nintendo Switch next year as a timed console exclusive, followed by PS4/PS5.
