Kuro Games announced that open-world action RPG Wuthering Waves is coming soon to PlayStation 5. A release date for the PS5 version was not announced, but this version of Wuthering Waves will be playable at ChinaJoy 2024 from July 26 to July 29 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center.
Wuthering Waves Version 1.1 Thaw of Eons is now available for Android, iOS, and PC via Epic Games Store. The update recently added five star characters Jinhsi and Changli, the new Mt. Firmament map, new main story missions, limited-time events, and several quality of life improvements.
The main story of Wuthering Waves continues with Chapter 1 Act 7. In the story, players will encounter Jué, a mysterious Sentinel of Huanglong and guiding force for Jinzhou’s civilization. The new update also introduces Mt. Firmament, a secluded island in the southeastern ocean of Jinzhou territory. This land serves as the ancestral homeland of Jinzhou’s inhabitants.
Version 1.1 also introduces Hongzhen, a self-sufficient town that’s isolated from the outside world. Hongzhen features sleek buildings and streets with red leaves and shiny white snow, making it a very unique destination for players.
Wuthering Waves launched on May 22 for Android, iOS, and PC via Windows and Epic Games Store, and the PS5 version is coming soon. Over 30 million players have downloaded the game thus far. To celebrate 30 million downloads, Kuro Games distributed Lustrous Tide x10 and Crystal Solvent x5 to all Wuthering Waves players for free. Players simply need to log into the game to redeem their rewards and begin their journey.
