    Helldivers 2 Reveals Escalation of Freedom Update

    Featuring new missions, objectives, enemies, and planets.

    Arrowhead Game Studios has announced the next update for Helldivers 2, titled Escalation of Freedom. The update will release on August 6.

    Helldivers 2 initially came out on February 8, 2024. It released to rave reviews from critics and fans alike, selling 12 million copies within just three months. In such a short period, it has already outpaced God of War: Ragnarok. The cooperative shooter is available now on both PlayStation 5 and PC.

    Arrowhead Game Studios has announced the “Escalation of Freedom” update for Helldivers 2. The update, releasing on August 6, includes the following: Combat Rating 10, new mission objectives, bigger enemy outposts, new enemy types for both Terminids and Automatons, and fixes to mitigate the problem of grief kicking. The update will be available in just a few weeks.
