    Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess Reveals Free Okami Gifts

    New theme song revealed, too.

    Capcom announced the Okami bonus unlock campaign for Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess has been successfully completed by the community in the demo. As a result, all players will receive free Okami gifts in Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess on launch day.

    At launch, players will receive an Amaterasu costume and weapon for Soh, a Waka costume for Yashiro, and a special Okami collaboration soundtrack for the game. These rewards were unlocked after players successfully obtained one billion crystals and and found 15 hidden Lucky Mallets in the demo. 

    Moreover, Capcom revealed the game’s theme song “Kunitsu-Gami,” which is composed by Chikara Aoshima and sung by ermhoi. Fans may remember Chikara Aoshima as the composer of Capcom’s 2019 hit Shinsekai: Into the Depths.

    “The story of ‘Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess’ is a tale of battling defilement, insecurity, and fear,” said singer-songwriter ermhoi. “I hope this song will be like a talisman for you in such a battle. Please enjoy the nostalgic melody by Chikara Aoshima.”

    “We created a song suitable by traditional Japanese children’s songs and nursery rhymes that was suitably sung by ermhoi, who has a fragile yet fantastic voice, ” said Chikara Aoshima. “We hope that you will be able to contemplate the chaos of this world with this music.”

    Lastly, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess releases on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on July 19. The game is also coming to Game Pass for console, PC, and Cloud. Pre-orders are available now with exclusive bonuses including two Mazo Talismans for Soh and a digital mini artbook containing concept art.
