An Overlord live special in 2021 confirmed that a third movie is in development. In July 2022, the fourth season of Overlord began in July 2022 and ran for a single cour with 13 episodes. The recent Overlord Sei Ōkoku-hen live special confirmed that Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom will premiere in 2024. Recently, a stunning key visual reconfirmed the release window. The film will be available to watch in North America, but the release date is currently unknown.
