Today, Telecom Animation Film and TMS Entertainment have revealed a new trailer and October 2024 release date for Blue Box, an upcoming romance anime. Following Taiki Inomata and Chinatsu Kano, this anime focuses on the relationship between the two as members of sports teams in high school. Some of the cast for the series has already been previously revealed as the following:
- Chinatsu Kano – Reina Ueda
- Taiki Inomata – Shoya Chiba
- Hina Chono – Akari Kito
- Kyo Kasahara – Chiaki Kobayashi
- Kengo Haryu – Yuma Uchida
The anime is based on the original manga by Kouji Miura. The manga began serialization in 2021 and is currently released through Weekly Shonen Jump. Today’s announcement came from Anime Expo 2024, which has provided dozens of announcements on new and upcoming titles.
