    Sekai Project Shares Nekopara & Visual Novel Updates at Anime Expo 2024

    During the company’s Anime Expo 2024 panel, Sekai Project shared several updates and announcements for the Nekopara 10th anniversary, alongside other upcoming visual novels

    Firstly, Sekai Project will launch a new crowdfunding campaign to produce and release new Chocola and Vanilla figures. Nekopara creator Sayori is on board with the project to handle illustrations and sculpting, and Nekoyome will release these new figures. 

    The Anime Expo 2024 panel confirms Nekopara remasters are coming with new character sprites and full HD support. These releases will begin in Q4 2024, with subsequent volumes launching in 2025. Moreover, Nekopara After — La Vraie Familie will now be a standalone release in 2025.

    In other visual novel news, Sekai Project confirms Cabbage Soft’s Amairo Chocolate 3 will release in Q4 2024 for PC via Steam. Amairo Chocolate 3 is currently in the translation process.

    The studio is also working on the translation of feng-developed visual novel Akaneiro ni Somaru Saka, which releases in 2024 for Steam. Sekai Project will publish Vermillion Digital’s action roguelike game Seed of Heroes on PC via Steam in September 2024. A public demo will be playable on Steam soon. 

    Next up, Sekai Project is teaming up with Canadian record label Very Ok Vinyl to release a vinyl of the Nie no Hakoniwa soundtrack. The soundtrack features 26 tracks composed by MANYO, including the opening “KOTORIUTA” and ending “KOMORIUTA” themes sung by Shimotsuki Haruka. The vinyl release features all 26 tracks across two records. Pre-orders are live at Very Ok Vinyl for $59 CAD (~$42.97 USD), and orders ship out in Q4 2024 / Q1 2025.

    Lastly, Sekai Project will release a physical edition of Rabi-Ribi Premium Edition for PlayStation 4. There are plans for special and standard edition releases in North America.
