    Dragon Ball Sparking! ZERO Reveals Battle Training Mode

    Get a refresher on the mechanics with Gohan and Piccolo.

    Bandai Namco revealed an in-depth look at the Battle Training mode for Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO. This mode teaches players the basics of combat in Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO, alongside more advanced techniques. 

    The Battle Training mode in Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO lets new and returning players learn the game’s combat system basics in a sparring session with Piccolo and Gohan. Goten will also make an appearance to help the iconic duo train. Players can select the level they want to start at, with the beginner level teaching how to fly, use Ki Blasts and counters, charge Ki, and activate Sparking mode.

    In addition, players may  learn special commands, such as changing characters and initiating transformations, and the Dragon Dash mechanic. The intermediate and advanced levels teach players how to execute techniques like Rush Chains, Vanishing Assaults, Advanced Counters, Perception and Super Perception, and much more. 

    In Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO, players may choose among eight characters in Episode Battles, which is confirmed to cover content from Dragon Ball Z to Dragon Ball Super. Players may create, play, and share their newly created scenarios with others in Custom Battles. Moreover, Local Multiplayer lets players enjoy matches together in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber stage. 

    Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO will release on October 11 worldwide for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Final Weapon had the opportunity to try out some of the game modes found in Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO at Summer Game Fest 2024 Play Days.
