Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Orchestral Arrangement Album Announced for August 28

    An all-new album.

Square Enix has announced an all-new orchestral album for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, titled Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Orchestral Arrangement Album. This music was performed by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra and conducted by Hirofumi Kurita. The album is available to pre-order for 4,070¥.

Additionally, an acrylic stand is included in a bundle, which you can use to display the CD. This stand features the key art of the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth cast. This bundle is priced at 6,820¥. Pre-orders are available now at the Square Enix Store. North American pre-orders will likely open shortly.

This release is just ahead of the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Orchestra World Tour, which begins on August 10 in Los Angeles. More details on this tour can be found here.

With Square Enix now set to “aggressively pursue a multiplatform strategy that includes Nintendo platforms, PlayStation, Xbox, and PCs”, it seems like Final Fantasy VII Rebirth could be making the jump to new platforms later this year. This would allow millions of new players to experience the title, with PC players eagerly awaiting the second chapter of the Final Fantasy VII remake project.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is available now for PlayStation 5, with future platform releases possible now that the exclusivity period is over. Be sure to check out our 5/5 review of the game, where we stated, “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a generational RPG that exemplifies everything there is to love about the medium.”
