    Blue Archive Anime Expo 2024 Showcase Announced

    Featuring news on the summer update and anime series.

    Yostar Pictures and NEXON Games announced the Blue Archive Anime Expo 2024 Showcase will be held on July 5 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:50 a.m. PT at the panel room 403AB. The panel will feature new details about the tactical RPG’s summer update and the anime adaptation. 

    The panel will also include additional special insight from Blue Archive lead director Kim Yongha, art director Kim Guk-ki and composer Mitsukiyo. Fans may also head to Additionally, fans can check out Nexon’s Blue Archive booth for photo opportunities, mini-games, giveaways, a DJ performance by Mitsukyo, and much more.

    “We’ve received so much love for Blue Archive: The Animation, and Anime Expo 2024 just made sense as the perfect place to say ‘thank you’ to the fans and debut the anticipated summer update,” said Yongha. “Blue Archive’s dedicated community has sculpted its world and we’re excited to finally give back that support in person.”

    In North America, new episodes of Blue Archive The Animation air on Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. EDT on the official Blue Archive Global YouTube channel. Each Blue Archive The Animation episode will be available to stream with English subs. 

    Yostar Pictures and Candy Box staff are producing the Blue Archive anime with director Daigo Yamagishi at the helm. Yamagishi and Hiroshi Ohnogi will oversee the series scripts. Moreover, Hiromitsu Hagiwara serves as character designer and chief animation director of the new anime.

    The city’s academies are divided into their own districts and are considered mostly independent.
    The General Student Council acts as governing board to manage the academies as a whole. However, the group’s ability to govern has come to halt since the mysterious disappearance of the General Student Council president. Countless issues have begun to surface throughout Kivotos in the absence of the president’s leadership.
    To avoid disaster, the General Student Council requests assistance from the Federal Investigation Club, otherwise known as Schale. In fact, Schale is the city’s newest club and the last to be approved before the president’s disappearance.
    To accomplish its task, Schale relies on the guidance of a Sensei who can help them resolve the incidents around Kivotos.
