Koei Tecmo and Type-Moon announced Fate/Samurai Remnant DLC 3 “Record’s Fragment: Bailong and the Crimson Demon” will release on June 20. This is the third and final DLC for the game’s Season Pass.
In the DLC 3 – Record’s Fragment: Bailong and the Crimson Demon, Fate/Samurai Remnant players will encounter the Rogue Rider known as Zhao Yun and attempt to save Edo from total ruin. To start the new DLC, players will need to progress the main story up until they’re able to talk to the boss in “Seek the Heroes That Survive” (Chapter 3). The DLC will be accessible from the Edo map once the criteria is met. Before launch, Koei Tecmo will release a new trailer featuring cutscenes and gameplay from the DLC.
Here’s an overview of the DLC’s story, via Koei Tecmo:
“Mysteriously disappearing children. Rumors of evil spirits in Yoshiwara.
A strange voice calling out to Miyamoto Iori. A suddenly attacking bird monster.”
“In the midst of all these strange incidents, Yui Shousetsu appears in the form of a child and declares that if nothing is done, Edo will be destroyed.
“With the Spirit Font in turmoil, aspirants of the Waxing Moon join together to face a new anomaly.
“Among them is a newly arrived Servant, an unrivaled spear-wielder, Rogue Rider Zhao Yun.
‘Feel the sting of Zhao Zilong’s spear!'”
Lastly, Fate/Samurai Remnant is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The Fate/Samurai Remnant Season Pass is available now featuring DLCs 1 and 2 for $39.99.
