NIS America announced a free demo for The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak will launch on June 4. The demo will be available on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 with save data transfers.
In The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak, players control Van Arkride, a roguish protagonist that will side with good and evil if it benefits him and his job. He will be forced into a grand plot that will threaten all of post-war Calvard in a new Trails saga. The Nintendo Switch version released first in Japan on February 15, followed by the full English release on July 5.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak Demo
A free demo for The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak will be available on June 4 featuring the game’s prologue and first chapter on PlayStation 4. On Nintendo Switch, the demo will only contain the prologue due to limitations involving the demo’s release. However, both Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 players may transfer their save data to the full game to continue from where they left off.

NIS America will release The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak on July 5 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam in the west. Pre-orders are now available starting at $59.99 on Amazon, NIS America Online Store, and other participating retailers. A physical Limited Edition is available to pre-order now for $99.99 at the NIS America Online Store as well.
On Nintendo Switch, The Legend of Heroes: Trails through Daybreak features optimized controls and enticing features. These features include the signature High Speed Mode and Archive function from the PlayStation 5 version. Moreover, the game will include a total of 33 DLC items.
