During Marvelous Game Showcase 2024, Marvelous announced the official title for Project Magia is Farmagia, which features character designs by Fairy Tail creator Hiro Mashima. This new monster-slaying and life-sim RPG will launch in 2024.
The voice cast of Farmagia includes:
- Ten (protagonist, Kohei Amasaki)
- Arche (Ten’s childhood friend, Ayane Sakura)
- Chica (Ten’s childhood friend, Inori Minase)
- Lookie-Loo (mascot, Atsumi Tanezaki)
The game’s official theme song is “dis-dystopia,” which is sung by Sakura and Minase. Platforms for Farmagia were not announced, however.
At last year’s showcase, Project Magia product manager Takehiro Ishida revealed the new title with the goal of approaching “a new frontier” in gaming. Ishida went on to discuss the game’s character designs and Mashima’s role in the project.
The anime adaptation for Hiro Mashima’s Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest was announced back in September 2021. Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will premiere in July 2024 with a stellar voice cast returning from the original Fairy Tail anime.
Marvelous Game Showcase 2024 is streaming now on company’s official YouTube channel in Japan. The livestream ran for 30 minutes and 30 seconds with the latest news about upcoming console, PC, mobile, and arcade games from Marvelous. Marvelous USA, the North American brand of Marvelous, hosted the livestream with English subtitles.
