SEGA and ATLUS shock fans with a promotional collaboration between Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance and iconic heavy metal band Slipknot. This collab sees Slipknot mask creator Jim Ojala from Ojala Productions create three different masks based on demons from the game.
Alongside various improvements and content additions, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance explores the story line of the original Shin Megami Tensei V (Canon of Creation) and the brand-new Canon of Vengeance story line. The game’s new battle themes also explore the themes, visuals, and vibes that metal typically bring, making the Slipknot collab feel like it was meant to be.
In the first video, Slipknot mask creator Ojala shows the design process of creating three different masks based on Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance demons Gurulu, Daemon, and Loup-Garou. A second video will be released soon featuring band members of Slipknot, as the release of Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance approaches.
