Konami announced the second ever installment of Silent Hill Transmission will air on May 30, revealing new updates on the Silent Hill franchise and upcoming releases on a comprehensive livestream.
In 2022, Konami finally revamped the Silent Hill series by revealing multiple projects, including Bloober Team’s Silent Hill 2 remake. Nearly four months after Silent Hill 2 was last shown at State of Play, Konami is ready to reveal updates on the new title’s development at Silent Hill Transmission. Of course, this means Silent Hill titles that have not been showcased in depth yet will have a chance to shine.
Silent Hill Transmission to Reveal Game Updates, Merch and More
Konami’s second Silent Hill Transmission livestream will air on May 30 at 4:00 p.m. PST, featuring game updates, “a deeper look at the film,” and new merch reveals. One of the titles that will most likely be featured is the aforementioned Silent Hill 2 remake, which is coming to PlayStation 5 and PC. The livestream will be held on the official Silent Hill YouTube channel.
The stream will begin at the following times:
- Pacific Standard Time: 4:00 p.m. PST
- Mountain Standard Time: 5:00 p.m. MST
- Central Standard Time: 6:00 p.m. CST
- Eastern Standard Time: 7:00 p.m. EST
- Greenwich Mean Time: 11:00 p.m. GMT
Another major Silent Hill title that’s currently in development is Silent Hill f, a brand-new game developed by Neobards Entertainment (Resident Evil Re:Verse) and written by Ryukishi07 (When They Cry series). The game features a completely new story set in 1960’s Japan.
Annapurna Interactive and No Code are also working on a new game, Silent Hill: Townfall. A trailer was shown for Silent Hill: Townfall at the first Silent Hill Transmission event, However, Konami did not share anymore details on the game just yet.
