SEGA announced a free update is now available for Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop on Apple Arcade, featuring six new characters.
Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop launched on April 4 as an Apple Arcade exclusive. The game harkens back to past Puyo Puyo entries, but it also includes new features that entice newcomers on Apple’s popular mobile platform. After launch, Final Weapon also had the opportunity to interview producer Mizuki Hosoyamada and discuss the game’s development and the growth of the Puyo Puyo series.
Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop Free Update
The latest update for Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop introduces six new characters: Shezo, Accord, Draco, Lidelle, Risukuma, and Ally. Their introduction brings the game’s total character roster count to 30. A new single-player challenge mode dungeon, multiplayer co-op play with cooperative battle rules, and five kinds of BGM were introduced in the new update too.
Puyo Puyo Puzzle Pop is available on iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, and Apple Vision Pro via Apple Arcade. Lastly, here’s an overview of the new game, via Apple Arcade:
