Capcom announced a series of updates and fixes to enhance the gaming experience across all platforms. The upcoming patches will introduce various improvements, most notably to start a new game without overwriting existing save data. Additionally, Capcom is planning adjustments to increase the number of “Art of Metamorphosis” items available at Pawn Guilds from the current limit to 99.

Moreover, a quest that grants players the ability to acquire their own dwelling, a place to save and rest, will be accessible earlier in the game. The patches will also address various text display issues and miscellaneous bugs.

Exclusive to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S users, the patch will add options to toggle Motion Blur and Ray Tracing within the game settings. These visual tweaks allow players to customize their graphical experience according to their preferences. Also, the game will include an option to set the Frame Rate to either Variable or Max 30fps. Capcom noted that these options will not significantly affect the frame rate, and further frame rate improvements are planned for future updates.

For Steam players, the patch will improve the quality of gameplay when players enable the DLSS Super Resolution option. It also promises to rectify an issue that caused models to appear low-quality under specific settings.

All of the updates listed for Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be released as soon as Capcom is ready to roll them out.

Lastly, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
