Blue Exorcist Yuki no Hate-hen Anime Announced

    Shimane Illuminati Saga is complete.

    During the Blue Exorcist stage event at AnimeJapan 2024, Aniplex announced the new Blue Exorcist Yuki no Hate-hen anime! This anime will serve as the sequel to Blue Exorcist Shimane Illuminati Saga, which aired from January to March this year.

    The Blue Exorcist anime returned in 2017 after a six-year hiatus with Blue Exorcist Kyoto Saga, which ran for 12 episodes. Blue Exorcist Shimane Illuminati Saga was revealed in September 2023, roughly six years after the 12th and final episode of Blue Exorcist Kyoto Saga aired. 

    Blue Exorcist Yuki no Hate-hen Anime is in the Works

    An exact release date for Blue Exorcist Yuki no Hate-hen was not given, so it’s unclear whether it will air before the end of 2024. However, an exciting new trailer was shown at AnimeJapan 2024, and fans will likely get more details soon.

    Blue Exorcist Shimane Illuminati Saga previously aired on Sundays at 12:30 a.m. JST on Tokyo MX, BS11, and other networks in Japan. Crunchyroll streamed all 12 episodes of Blue Exorcist Shimane Illuminati Saga episodes with English subs on Sundays. The streaming platform will likely stream Yuki no Hate-hen as well. 

    Lastly, all 49 episodes of the Blue Exorcist anime, including Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga and Shimane Illuminati Saga, are available to stream now on Crunchyroll. Here’s an overview of the anime series from VIZ Media:
