Create Your Character in the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Demo Today
Dragon’s Dogma 2 director Hideaki Itsuno and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi disclosed that the “Character Creator & Storage” tool is available today. This tool allows players to create five character designs for their Arisen and Main Pawn. For players who want to start creating characters, download it now for free on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Players can instantly transfer the designs to the full game when Dragon’s Dogma 2 releases.
In addition to a Dragon’s Dogma 2 demo announcement, extra gameplay mechanics were revealed. Players can expect to party up with three AI companions, known as Pawns, who will assist them in battles. Encounter various monsters throughout the game, utilizing different strategies for each fight. Players can also use environments such as rocks and waterfalls to help defeat monsters in their path. The developers also noted that you can run away from fights.
Moreover, the decisions players make regarding character interactions and resolving quests will impact their relationships with other characters. This will change the interactions between characters, sometimes causing arguments. Hideaki Itsuno commented that players can avoid these interactions by giving characters specific items. Players’ decisions will impact the world around them very much.
