Jenova Emergent Weaknesses and Tips
Unfortunately, Jenova Emergent doesn’t have any weaknesses. This fight is all about laying down lots of physical damage while keeping your party healed up. When the beast is pressured, hit it with stagger-increasing attacks like Cloud’s Focus Thrust. When it’s staggered, use Tifa’s abilities that increase stagger percentage. When it’s all set up hit it with a limit break or synergy ability.
Jenova Emergent Phase 1
Emergent doesn’t move during this phase, so avoiding its attacks is fairly easy. You can just dodge away from it for the most part.
Jenova Emergent Phase 2
Emergent gains mobility during this phase, along with more attacks. Things like the lasers it can now shoot out are easy to avoid. Watch out for it’s physical attacks now, since it can move it will travel far to tear you a new one. Generally, guarding is the safest defensive option for this phase.
Jenova Emergent Phase 3
Emergent becomes more aggressive with new attacks this round. It can surround itself with a noxious gas. That can be easily dodged away from. There are also new parts of the fiend that you can target. This will pressure it and prevent it from using certain attacks. Try your hardest to stagger it, as popping off some strong attacks and limit breaks will finish it off.
