It has been nearly 3 months since Tekken 8‘s release and it is already receiving multiple big updates. The last big patch for Tekken 8 happened just a few weeks ago, and Bandai Namco is back for another one. Here are the details.
Tekken 8 Update 1.02.01 Adds TEKKEN SHOP, Balance Adjustments, and More
Patch 1.02.01 for Tekken 8 adds TEKKEN SHOP, balance adjustments, new customization items, and more. Bug fixes were also considered, making the game comfortable for all players. Moreover, players who cheat in online ranks will be removed from the leaderboard and go back to being a beginner rank.
Much of the talk for this patch is about the newly added TEKKEN SHOP. This shop allows players to obtain various customization items, popular legacy costumes, and avatar skins. Bandai Namco mentions that there are plans to add new categories and items every month. The TEKKEN SHOP includes both free and paid items, with paid items needing to be obtained through real money.
Additionally, lots of character balance adjustments have been made. Azucena, Dragunov, Feng, and many more have received 2 or more changes. There are also many fixes and changes to practice mode, move list, and stages. A few convenient changes have been added for players who frequent the TEKKEN FIGHT LOUNGE.
