In a recent live stream, the staff of The Misfit of Demon King Academy anime revealed that that the second half of season 2 will air on April 12. Alongside the announcement, a new promo revealing the second half’s opening and cast was also released.
The Misfit of Demon King Academy initially premiered in 2020. The entire series, including the first half of Season 2, is available to stream on Crunchyroll. More details about the anime are available below. The anime’s first half, or cours, premiered in winter 2022.
The Misfit of Demon King Academy Second Cours of Season 2 Airing on April 12
In a new livestream, the staff of The Misfit of Demon King Academy anime revealed that the second half of season 2 will air on April 12. The livestream revealed a new promo confirming more members of the series’ cast, alongside showcasing the second cours’ opening theme. BURNOUT SYNDROMES will perform the new OP, “Maō” (Demon King).

Anos Voldigord was a tyrannical Demon King that eradicated humans, spirits, and even the gods, but became bored of eternal warfare and reincarnated with dreams of a peaceful world. However, what awaited him in reincarnation after 2000 years were descendants who became too weak after being accustomed to peace, and all sorts of magic that deteriorated to the extreme.
Anos enters Demon King Academy that gathers and educates those who are viewed as the reincarnation of the Demon King, but the academy could not see through his true powers and ends up branding him as a misfit.
Lastly, the second half of The Misfit of Demon Academy season 2 will air on April 12.
