    Pokémon Legends Z-A Announced for 2025 Launch

    Return to Lumiose City for a new adventure.

    The Pokémon Company, and Game Freak have announced Pokémon Legends Z-A, the next entry in the series that began with Pokémon Legends Arceus! This brand-new title will be launching in 2025 for Nintendo Switch worldwide. 

    The new game takes players back to the Kalos region, the setting of Pokémon X and Y from Nintendo 3DS. Specifically, the reveal trailer shows Lumiose City, which is set to undergo a major redevelopment plan. In addition, Mega Evolutions were teased as a returning feature.

    A new adventure awaits within Lumiose City, where an urban redevelopment plan is under way to shape the city into a place that belongs to both people and Pokémon.

    While waiting on the new game, fans can continue to explore Paldea in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero Epilogue released on January 11, calling players back to Kitakami for a new adventure. While adventuring in the latest DLC, players have discovered Stellar Form Terapagos, which is actually the third form of the Legendary Pokémon.

    Lastly, Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is available now on the Nintendo Switch. Both Part 1 and Part 2 of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero are also available for $34.99.
