    Capcom announced the annual Street Fighter 6 tournament, Capcom Cup XI, and declared that the winner would receive $1,000,000. This news comes from the Capcom Cup X tournament that just recently ended.

    Capcom Cup X has just finished, completing a storyline arc for the SF6 competitive community. Despite Capcom’s no-new-characters announcement, players speculated on a possible new Capcom Cup announcement.

    After Capcom Cup X ended, the president of Capcom, Haruhiro Tsujimoto, came to the stage to announce Capcom Cup XI. He noted that this time, the annual tournament will have many online and offline tournaments for the Pro Tour. Moreover, the Capcom Pro Tour will be starting in the summer.

    No specific date for the beginning of the Pro Tour has been announced, but players are speculating it will start around June. CEO, one of the major fighting game tournaments, is starting around late June, and some players believe it would be the best time to start the tour.
