    Haikyu!! Final Film Part 1 Reveals New Trailer Ahead of Premiere

    Releasing on Friday, February 16.

    TOHO Animation has revealed a new trailer for Part 1 of the Haikyu!! Final Film. The film will premiere in theaters on February 16.

    Haruichi Furudate launched the Haikyu!! manga in 2011. Both Viz Media and MANGA Plus have released the manga around the world. The anime adaptation initially aired in 2014 and lasted until 2020. Earlier this month, Shueisha released a new one-shot manga for the series. Fans can check out the manga in the days leading up to the movie’s premiere on Friday.

    TOHO Animation recently revealed a new trailer for the upcoming Part 1 of Haikyu!! Final Film. The trailer shows off more of the film’s action. It also reveals the movie’s opening song. SPYAIR will perform the theme, titled “Orange.” The film will premiere on Friday, February 16. It will be available to watch in Japanese IMAX theaters. Check out the new trailer below:

    Based off of the original Weekly Shonen Jump manga series from Haruichi Furudate, Haikyu!! is a slice-of-life sports anime revolving around Shoyo Hinata’s love of volleyball. Inspired by a small-statured pro volleyball player, Hinata creates a volleyball team in his last year of middle school.

    Unfortunately the team is matched up against the “King of the Court” Tobio Kageyama’s team in their first tournament and inevitably lose. After the crushing defeat, Hinata vows to surpass Kageyama After entering high school, Hinata joins the volleyball team only to find that Tobio has also joined.

    At the time of writing, the franchise’s staff has not yet confirmed when Part 2 of the movie will be released, or when Part 1 will release in the West. The Haikyu! Final film Part 1 will premiere on February 16. The original manga is available on both MANGA Plus and Viz Media.
