    Another Code: Lost Memories – Chapter 5 Walkthrough

    Another Code: Recollection combines two cult-classic Adventure games into one, freshly-updated package for the Nintendo Switch. Enjoy a heart-touching journey full of mystery and personal growth with Ashley Robins. However, the nature of adventure games, with their focus on puzzles and exploration, can progress gate certain players.     Tips

    The goal of this guide is to provide players with assistance, but I also have some tips to share so that prospective players can have as full of an experience as possible.

    • Feel free to examine things and chat up characters to your heart’s content! This will give you a fuller experience with added details.
    • If you are still having some issues, feel free to turn on ‘Assist Mode’ and ‘Puzzle Hints’. These options guide you toward your next objective and help you out if a puzzle stumps you. However, using this guide will provide you with an experience of the game that allows you to witness the story unfold without any intrusive UI. Plus you don’t have to fiddle with the options if you do get stuck.
    • The DAS and your Inventory chronicle your journey. Check them out for details or to jog your memory. Need to further jog your memory? Use your ‘Backlog’ by pressing ‘R’. It contains ALL of the game’s dialogue via a script. You can even play the voice clips, too!
    • It is possible to skip clue-gathering segments with only the knowledge of the puzzle solution. 

    Another Code: Recollection -Journey Into Lost Memories- Chapter 5: Silent Clock Tower

    After the story scenes head upstairs. Finish the dialogue session and then examine the Music Box. Turn the box around and attempt to turn the Key with the ‘R’ button. Press ‘A’ to open the Box. Examine the Spring and use the Needlenose Pliers you were given to loosen it up. Next, use the screw on the Comb and screw it in with the Flat-Head Screwdriver. Press ‘R’ to turn the screw. Tighten the screw to the left while you’re at it too. Use the Rust Removal Spray on the Rusty gear in the top left. Turn the key of the box successfully this time. 

    When the story scenes are done, go downstairs and talk to Tommy. Go to the Restaurant and talk to Tommy. Return to Ashley’s Dad’s Cottage. Head to the upstairs room. Leave the Cottage and go back down the path near the Restaurant. Go to the farmhouse and talk to Bob. Go speak to Charlotte in front of the house. 

    Leave the home. Enter the toolshed in front of you to the left. Examine the Wall of Clocks and take a look at the Miniature Clock Tower. It can be turned around and the clocks on each side can be manipulated. The Clock has cardinal directions, and these can be found carved into the shelf and its drawers next to the Wall of clocks. Use these clues to set the Clocks on the Miniature Clock Tower to the correct times, after getting the Sword Key, Return to Charlotte. 

    Next, head on over to the Greenhouse by the pumpkin patch. Examine the Table and find the Box underneath it. Use the gyro controls to guide the ball to the rose-marked hole. Return to Charlotte. Now head to the Clock Tower with your keys. Unlock the Door.
