XSEED Games has officially announced that Freedom Planet 2 will be coming to consoles on April 4. It will be available for $24.99 on the PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch.
Freedom Planet 2 first launched on PC via Steam on September 13, 2022. The console version was announced shortly before the game’s PC launch. They delayed it to Spring 2024 in December. It will now release on April 4.

Freedom Planet 2 will release on consoles in April. It will specifically be available on April 4 for $24.99. Pre-orders are now open on all consoles. For a limited time, it will be available on the Nintendo eShop for 10% off. XSEED Games released a new trailer commemorating the upcoming release. The trailer shows off the game’s four main characters. It also reveals the Freedom Planet 2‘s new boss rush mode that will be added to the PC release upon the console version’s launch.
