    Aniplex announced the anime adaptation of A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special will continue with Season 2! The second season was confirmed after the release of A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special episode 12. 

    A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special first premiered on October 7 across various TV stations in Japan. All 12 episodes of the first season were streamed on Crunchyroll as well, allowing fans around the world to catch each episode as it aired in Japan. Fans who enjoyed the first season may look forward to 12 more episodes in the second season.

    Japanese and English-subtitled trailers for A Returner’s Magic Should Be Special Season 2 were released after the 12th and final episode of season 1 concluded. A new TV commercial featuring magician Mr. Maric also promotes the second season. What’s more, a new key visual featuring Desir was revealed. Although an exact release date was not confirmed, the second season is in production.

    Arvo Animation produced the first season with Taichi Kawaguchi serving as director. Takamitsu Kono handled the series composition, and Hiromi Kato is the character designer. FLOW performs the opening theme “GET BACK for the first season, with Momosumomosu performing the ending theme “6 no Naderu.” More details about the staff and cast of the second season will be revealed at a later date.
