Capcom announced the Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective remaster is coming to iOS and Android in spring 2024. The new mobile version will replace the original iOS release of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective from 2010, which is ending service on March 25, 2024.
Once Ghost Trick (2010) ends service, the app and its additional chapters will no longer be available for purchase in the App Store. There will no longer be updates to the game once its taken off the App Store, so those who choose to redownload the 2010 version may eventually run into compatibility problems in the future. However, the remaster will replace the 2010 release in 2024.
Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective Remaster Mobile Details
The upcoming mobile release of Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective will include the same enhancements of the 2023 console and PC release. Capcom released a FAQ for the upcoming release.

A. Ghost Trick (2024) is the version of Ghost Trick released in 2023 (for Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and Steam) ported to smartphones.
Q. Will Ghost Trick (2024) be available for Android?
A. Yes. It will be available on both iOS and Android.
Q. Are there any changes from Ghost Trick (2010) to Ghost Trick (2024)?
A. The base game and story are the same, but there are a number of additions and changes, including HD graphics, improved frame rate, newly arranged background music, and collection features.
Q. Is there anything from Ghost Trick (2010) that will transfer to Ghost Trick (2024)?
A. Nothing transfers between the games, including achievements, play data, and purchase of chapters.
Q. Will I need to purchase Ghost Trick (2024) even if I’ve already purchased Ghost Trick (2010)?
A. Ghost Trick (2010) and Ghost Trick (2024) are different apps, so a separate purchase is required to play Ghost Trick (2024).
Q. Are there any differences with the version of Ghost Trick released on other platforms (Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation®4, Xbox One, and Steam)?
A. This version has been optimized for smartphones, but basically there are no differences.
Q. What devices will be supported?
A. We will post a list on the official website that will launch when the game releases.
