The official website for the upcoming anime adaptation of the Wind Breaker manga has released a new promo video for the series. The anime will air in April 2024.
Satoru Nii wrote Wind Breaker in 2021. Kodansha has been publishing the series digitally for the last two years. The anime’s staff revealed more information about the upcoming series during a Jump Festa 2024 panel. For more details on the event, check out our official tag here.
Wind Breaker Promo Video Reveals The Series’ Story
During Jump Festa 2024, the official website for the upcoming adaptation of Wind Breaker released a new promo video. The promo shows off the series’ story and characters. Additionally, the staff of the upcoming series has also been revealed.
Toshifumi Akai will be directing the anime at CloverWorks. Hiroshi Seko will handle series composition while Taishi Kawakami will be the designing the characters. Ryō Takahashi will be the anime’s composer. Check out the new promo video below:
The anime will star the following voice talent:
- Yūma Uchida as Haruka Sakura
- Kouki Uchiyama as Kyо̄tarо̄ Sugishita
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Hayato Suо̄
- Yūichi Nakamura as Hajime Umemiya
- Ryōta Suzuki as Tōma Hiragi
- Shōya Chiba as Akihiko Nirei

Haruka Sakura wants nothing to do with weaklings—he’s only interested in the strongest of the strong. The Wind Breaker anime adaptation will premiere in April 2024. The anime’s staff will reveal more details about the series’ distributor and English dub in the coming months.
